I ordered this to highlight the cards and table numbers for my wedding. I was about to finish everything so I reordered to make sure I had enough. The first batch was ivory and strong - really great lace, just what I wanted. The second order was WHITE and elastic. It's a difference subtle enough to use, but I really needed consistency to do it and I'm so disappointed.

Nowhere in the ad does it say the lace has shiny/slippery spots. These spots are not even visible in the presented image. I usually dye the lace I buy and those shiny/smooth spots are NOT dyed the same shade as the rest, wasting my time, effort and paint. To be honest I don't know what this top quality could be used for. It's not something I would use for any of my projects, even if I didn't plan to paint it first. It's also terribly thin. Terribly thin. Too bad you can't tell before you buy.

The tip is very beautiful. I had to make a wedding veil. I had no choice but to use this top bolt. However, this is the STRETCH lace I received and it was a nightmare to wear over the hems of a 20ft wedding dress. DO NOT ORDER this UNLESS you want stretch lace. If so, then that's fine. BUT, don't unravel a veil - it keeps frizzing and you have to keep snapping the machine thread to untie it and start over again. I wanted a regular flat non-stretch lace.
