After reading the reviews I decided to buy this candle set because I liked the look of the glass. The reviews were positive, so I felt comfortable with my purchase decision. However, I was very disappointed with their design and performance. They sat unevenly, their lighting was dim, and the false flame barely moved. I don't return many items, but this order is being returned.

I really thought they would look great in the bathroom, but weird wire shadows? take the inside away from the outside. I'm not sure if it shows in the photos either, but there are spots where the candle is stuck to the glass, creating wet spots between the candle and the glass. The moving wick and remote control work well but overall this candle set was disappointing.

Ever since I lost my baby last January I've happily lit a candle every day and left it on day and night, but it's not only dangerous, it's also expensive. These candles have just made my child's memorial shelf prettier and safer. Now I don't have to worry about forgetting to blow out the candle. My little one can hold her candle day and night. They look real and the flames are flickering. I love these candles so much that I have ordered more.

I gave 5 of these away as gifts plus the ones I have at home. The flame looks so real when reflected off the glass. The batteries last a long time since I use the timer function and they are great. I recently gave a colleague a set for her birthday, which she showed around her office all day before taking it home. I am very enthusiastic about my new candle set. They look absolutely authentic and great. The glass is real glass. These candles have the best flickering light I've ever seen! I would definitely buy this set as a gift, especially for friends who like to use candles. 1) It has a great timer. The way the timer works is that they both turn off after a certain amount of time and somehow know they'll turn on at the same time of day. 2) The remote control can control all my kits. I've had a hell of a time putting batteries in those crappy compartments, all three candles, not just one, so it wasn't just an anomaly. They literally blew my batteries apart. They really have to be put in there. Then I had to use pliers to remove the batteries. When trying to pull out the batteries, the lower compartments fall through.
