These chains provide excellent traction on snow and ice. They're easy to install and remove, and they've held up well over time. The downsides are they may be difficult to store and they require extra caution when driving on dry pavement, as they can cause some noise and vibration. Despite these minor drawbacks, I would definitely recommend these chains to any automotive enthusiast facing harsh winter weather.

Color coded hands do not match the colors on the chains. The close-ups in the product description were clearer. Received the chains the day before a major storm hit the area on 01/22/16. Easy to install although one of the chains broke on the first try. A few miles later the first chain broke the link. We heard a broken piece of chain bang against the wheel frame and stopped to see what was going on. A road mechanic came and cut off the loose end of the chain, then the rest of the chain was loose but seemed fine.
