I find these Chewies to be much easier to use with my Invisalign than the large Munchie that came with the first set of aligners. I would "chew" a lot less without these guys! The mint scent is very subtle, but I don't use it as a scent. I cut one in half as another reviewer suggested and it's less noticeable in the mouth and easier to maneuver around the teeth - sort of like chewing on an odd piece of gum! My orthodontist recommended biting on wine corks to help the Invisalign aligners work better. The plugs were too big and rough to keep my mouth open that wide. These gummies work great, much better than corks! I don't smell the mint flavor that works for me. I've used a 3x now and it's starting to dent a bit. I find this product to be overpriced but I am willing to pay for the convenience they offer.

If your teeth are already hurting from new aligners, the last thing you want is to put too much pressure on them. With a hollow center, you can slightly increase the pressure on the mouthguard to seat it without irritating your teeth any more than they already are. I have tried several designs of these gummies and now only buy them.

I found that they tended to squirm in my mouth as I chewed, and the hole in the center somehow managed to pinch the inside of my cheeks a number of times.
