My daughter is 3 years old and has a larger build, this suit fits her perfectly and is comfortable. We usually have issues with straps that are too long causing it to be low and open in the front, but that wasn't the case at all with this suit. It perfectly covers her bottom and top. She also loves the dinosaur print.

I bought the pink stripe for my 2 year old granddaughter who is 29lbs and normally wears 3T. Since she still has to wear a swim diaper, I figured out the size and took a 4. It was still too tight for her. The pattern is cute, the fabric is medium quality, but the costume itself is small. Offer to try on maybe even 2 more sizes.

Bought for my daughter who is 5 years old. She is 3 feet 2 inches tall, weighs 41 pounds and wears clothing weighing 5 tons. She loves this swimsuit and it fits well. it's a little tight in length so the straps put lumps in her shoulders and she complained that it was tight around the bottom of her legs, but it's not very tight.
