They do not remain the best at first aid

I have followed the instructions very carefully - several times. Why multiple times? Because they don't stay more than a day. I suppose if you used them for a simple cut (why would you when you could use Band-Aid?) they could be great. But for a real wound - no. A day. That's all.

Pros
  • Few competitors

Great for flexibility and healing

It's very similar to others I've used in the past. It accelerates and facilitates wound healing without pain and less anxiety. It seems to fall off a little quicker than the other kind, but that can be a plus as it doesn't pull on your hair or skin as much when you want to take it off!

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Good but not great

The best bandage money can buy. Watch your wound heal

Wrap your wound like a burrito (finger) and watch the healing process with these transparent, waterproof dressings. No more expensive than normal bandages. Very sticky. It takes a little practice to get them right, but when you do, they're amazing!

  • Great Price

NOT THAT waterproof.

I have to wash my hands several times an hour because I work in the hospitality industry and suffer from psoriasis. I bought these to avoid getting soap poking my sores all the time. The adhesion only lasted about half my shift. So maybe four hours? I was hoping to find something that would last at least the entire 8 hour shift.

Fiction! in bandages and dressings

I am grateful that I found this product. It works great and keeps my medication patch dry in the shower. If you only need a few, they're perfect and nice to have on hand. But I wear a medical patch weekly, so I needed a more economical option. I found a roll of tattoo tape that can be trimmed and lasts about 6 months depending on how I use it.

  • Delivery was very fast

Terrible. Not waterproof.

They are not waterproof as advertised. I showered with one of them on and the water poured straight through. I had a knee biopsy and had to cover the wound where I was cut and that didn't stop the wound and gauze from getting wet. It even held water in the gauze and spilled when I got out of the shower. Well it's a joke.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • There are cons

Good price, decent enough

Work is good enough for the price - but definitely not tegaderm in terms of quality. The adhesion is not the same - the edges/corners sometimes started peeling a few hours after applying the bandage. Not fully waterproof, you need to get a really good sealant to keep your wound dry. Although they are very gentle on the skin. Just make a good caulk around all the edges and change them immediately after showering (I also wrapped plastic wrap around the shower area).

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Doesn't stick, no tabs to hold it in place

They don't stick for more than a few minutes once you can put them on. You have to completely peel off the top layer and there are no tabs to hold onto so you're constantly touching the sticky side. THEN there is an opaque layer that you need to peel off so you can't see the exact placement. My hands shake a lot and I use them to hold lidocaine patches and because my hands are shaking I often can't center them on the patch. There are much better brands that are user friendly.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Not bad

This helped me close a large blister that had formed and burst.

This product is not currently available on the market. What you need when you have skin problems are wafer-thin protective devices. This is used in hospitals. I can tell you from experience that this is the absolute truth. The only problem I had was the size we bought - it was definitely too small, but I'm not sure if a larger size was available, but unfortunately it was too small to solve my problem all day to support or two had to air dry the wound with antibiotic ointment and once the areaโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • Without machine
