Unreliable Fire-Resistant Gloves

Based on our own experience these gloves can't handle the heat. While they claim to be fire-resistant, they quickly degraded and failed during welding .The gloves were uncomfortable and poorly designed, hindering our ability to work safely. the only positive was the affordable price. These gloves are not worth the risk and we wouldn`t recommend them for welding or any other type of hot work..

Pros
  • Provides effective protection for welding activities
Cons
  • Not suitable for individuals with extra large hands

ALLYPROTECT 18 " Mig FR Flame Retardant Gloves

I bought these gloves for use with a wood stove. I have a pair of heat resistant gloves but they couldn't withstand the 700+ degrees that the stove goes to. It has been great so far.they are a lot thicker than my previous pair and also a lot more heat resistant.I still have to use oven mitts when trying to pick up something like cast iron but that's to be expected and I'm glad these gloves have a good overall provide heat protection.

Pros
  • Safety
Cons
  • High Price
