My mother has rosacea and Almay is one of the few beauty brands she can use. I bought it to do my makeup off at the end of my brother's wedding. She said they made her face good but irritated her eyes. They didn't even take off all of their makeup. And don't think about closing them again because the patch covering the hole through which the wipes are dispensed is not attached.

The only good thing is that the texture of these wipes really helps get rid of makeup. But after using them for 2 days, my face became very red, irritated and very bad. It appeared in places I don't normally get like the tops of my cheeks, the side of my nose, and my forehead. I felt like it was the wipes that were causing the pimples so I stopped using them and within 48 hours the redness and pimples started to go away. . I really wanted to like them as they are biodegradable and can be used to make products for sensitive skin. I've used them a few times and the smell was a bit off and they only irritated my skin to the touch but not too much. Then I used them on a warmer day (when my pores were probably more open) and my skin started to get red and sting. I had to wash my face after using them to get some relief. Not recommended for sensitive skin!

After trying these 3 different products I throw them away. I was looking forward to this as I prefer micellar water wipes but they have an ingredient that makes my eyes sting and red. I read other reviews that said the same thing. I have normal and sensitive skin, but not very sensitive skin. Something is wrong with them!

I enjoyed using them as I am sorry that the ones I have used are not compostable. But I had breakouts the day after using it and I'm not prone to breakouts so that was weird. I don't wear much makeup, just foundation and mascara. But this stuff struggled to peel off my mascara, which isn't even waterproof. When I woke up the next morning I found my eyes full of mascara which she didn't remove. I'm not thrilled and won't buy it again.
