I used it in the bathroom we are renovating, we removed the walls, worked it 1 hour and it made the room smell fresh. Then I used it in a small bedroom and one guest stayed in the house and smoked with the windows closed. oh wow musty cigarette smell would knock you off your feet sigh just got repainted and new curtains i let it run an hour and nothing worked the smell came right back then i let it run 2 hours wait 34 hours and ran it 2 hours again that smell was gone!

This was used at different times with an interval of one hour and should not burden the machine under any circumstances. Did a good job removing the smell when it worked.
