This is a great tar burning starter kit. burns good, fast but i give 3 stars because it is very smoky, there was smoke in the room for a while, i was afraid the fire alarm would go off, yo!

I love the design of the incense burner! I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the copal in the kit. Clean burn and very powerful. I was also pleased to learn that the charcoal included was branded and of high quality. I just assumed it would probably be a non-brand that would suit me well. Also very well packaged.

Unfortunately, I threw away the shipping envelope and packaging before I realized what a crap it was. Coal cannot safely balance on an aluminum base. It can slip off very easily. The charcoal itself burns fast and hot and can only be stopped by immersion in water, where it will break down. Coal gets so hot that anything on it catches fire or melts very quickly. I tried using it with the copal that comes with the kit and it melted the copal so quickly it filled the room with smoke. This thing is
