Disappointing Trail Runners for Women's Fashion

These sneakers failed to perform in any way. While they are visually appealing for women's fashion they are not comfortable nor functional for a true trail runner. The sole is too thin and lacks the necessary support for long runs or hikes .The mesh on the upper portion of the shoe is also quite flimsy, offering little durability and protection. It's a shame that these look great, but can't hold up to the demands of a rigorous trail..

Pros
  • Visually appealing for Women's Fashion.
Cons
  • Not comfortable or functional for running.

"Best Trail Running Shoes!

The ALTRA Womens Trail Running Shoes are perfect for any outdoor adventure! As an avid runner i was looking for shoes that provided both comfort and stability on uneven terrain. Through trial and error, I found that these shoes provide the perfect combination of support and flexibility .The sleek design also adds a touch of Women's Fashion to my active wardrobe. My only con is that the sizing runs a bit small, but once you find the right fit, these shoes will last you through any running trail.

Pros
  • Great for trail running
Cons
  • Less suitable for pavement or road running

But they work as intended.

I love Altras. I currently have 3 different types and have been using them for years. I live in Michigan and love to run in the winter, but hate getting my feet wet. Who does not know it? So based on the outsole description I decided to buy it. I bought 1/2 size larger (8.5) to accommodate thicker socks. The profile is slightly longer than regular Lone Peaks and they handle the snow well. However, if you have a mixture of snow and ice, you will slip. I ride dirt roads and they handle partially…

Pros
  • Insole: 5 mm contour footbed
Cons
  • makes me angry
