They are great for NEMA 17 stepper motors

These heatsinks are great for my 3D printer stepper motors. I like the extra surface area of the fins compared to the dedicated stepper heatsinks I've found elsewhere. I drilled out the centers and installed these radiators with thermoplast.

Great little heatsinks. I had to replace the doorbell transformer and the new one got very hot. I attached them to it and now it works nice and cool

Transfers heat more than 3 times faster than aluminum

This is really great for 40x40mm peltier modules. but for real heat dissipation from the system, larger Peltier blocks of 63 x 63 mm are required. and probably TWO of them on the same heatsink. We need larger COPPER cooling blocks, at least 64 x 64mm x 14mm thick for one Peltier element and 64 x 130 x 14mm for two 63mm diameter Peltier elements. Unfortunately, aluminum actually acts as a thermal choke, reducing thermal throughput by as much as two-thirds.
