💻 Aluminum USB Wired Keyboard: Ideal for Apple Mac Pro, Mini Mac, iMac & More Review

Product looks good - I misunderstood what I got. I thought I would order a refurbished official Apple wired keyboard, but it is a 3rd party creation. The keys are incredibly soft - think a super cheap membrane keyboard encased in an aluminum body.

It works but I type about 50 words per minute and if I were to use this keyboard as my main keyboard I would go crazy because there is no way to raise the pitch and it to do above. My admin loves it but this element is driving me crazy. If they could add "legs" under the keyboard I would add two more. The advantage is that one less part breaks. I was immediately struck by the feel of this keyboard. The keys have a very nice texture on the surface and have good spring back on return, making typing a pleasure. It's not plastic at all and is very quiet. The body of the keyboard is made entirely of aluminum with a polished beveled edge around the top surface to keep it looking good too. It's been getting harder to find a "real" wired keyboard for Mac lately, so I finally gave it a try and was very happy. My original Mac keyboard for my working (programming) computer is about five years old until some keys just didn't work. It seemed like a good deal to try. It's not quite the same, but it's close enough that it was a welcome relief after a month of using my MacBook's built-in keyboard, and I reconfigured it very quickly. It becomes very strong with daily use and holds up well.

Use with Apple Mac. I like the keyboard and it's easy to use. I replaced a small Apple Bluetooth keyboard that didn't have a number pad and seems to be eating batteries. The only problem I have is that the right shift key has to be held down for a few seconds or it won't register. A little annoying, but I don't usually use this workstation much, so I just worked with it.

Please do not buy this item. I got it for my son in September 2019 and it stopped working in January 2020. He has hardly worked for 4 months. I am not satisfied at all with the quality of this product. Rating of this seller as untrustworthy.
