This is the highest quality Lightning cable you can buy. It has an extremely rigid body where the connectors are so I'm sure it will last a lifetime.

Turned out to be defective, couldn't power an Apple device. The end had a visible defect right out of the box. Whoever buys them for Amazon needs to teach the QC a lesson on defects. This can lead, for example, to the failure of the charging connection and to costly repairs.

I've had to replace this several times and they always have the same problem. All of them stop working fairly quickly (approximately within 3-4 months). Part of the cable seems solid, but there is a rubber coating at the end of the cable that breaks after a few months of normal use. At first glance, the cable appears to be stronger than most charging cables - at least twice the thickness of the cable that came with the iPhone.
