As far as shapewear, these are soft and comfortable. I have lots of this type of undergarment and these are pretty top of the line. The stomach area is thick and hides my lovehandles and gives a more sculpted appearance. They don’t give me stomach ache from squeezing like some shapewear does.These are booty shorts, so they do not go down your thigh or cover your whole bum. Good news is there are no lines if you wear them with jeans or tight pants. Great for under dresses too! The bad news is…

I got these shape wear shorts for my wife. The fabric is thick and stretchy. It is made from 60% nylon, 27% polyester, and 13% spandex. The fabric smells horribly when taken out of the plastic wrap. So bad, that I don't think washing it will take the smell out. But they are very visible under clothes.My wife also didn't like that they are not high enough. They do offer support, but should be higher up.

This is a very small and tight fitting pair of shorts or boy short underwear. You could work out in these, but they are short. The waist is very wide and has a lot of stretch. The legs are very short. Almost no leg at all. From the crotch to the end of the "leg" it measures about 1 inch and from the crotch to the waist it is about 7.5 inches long. They could also be described as a volleyball pair of shorts. Made in China.

I like that these cover my stomach, but they ‘ride up’ and are uncomfortable on the bottom part. I almost bought 2 pair, but glad I didn’t.

Smoothing Shapewear shorts by Mae. Pros: I like to high top band so the shorts do not roll down. CONS: You have to pull the shorts high to fit properly. Makes them uncomfortably high and tight in the crotch area and they really didn't offer much smoothing. Ran small, some people like shapewear very snug, but this will push that limit and was an uncomfortable fit for me. .

These fit well and are comfortable, but the front leg opening comes down too far, and will roll up when you sit or bend over. Also, the back leg opening is just a smidge too high and sometimes makes you feel like you need to pull it down. These would be great if the front leg openings were higher and the back just a little lower.

These things are way too small in the bottom. For them to work they have to be pulled up high. When you pull them up high enough to work they are way to tight in the crotch area and give you all sorts of discomfort. The material itself is ok, and does smooth a little bit but ought to be a little more elastic/compressiony/stretchier.

Like others have said, these ride up, which is obviously not comfortable at all. I didn't find them as slimming as I would have liked, but the fact that they ride up makes them unwearable to me. I can't recommend uncomfortable undies to anyone.
