I was a little disappointed with the size. I ordered XS (4-5) for my petite 4 year old. They fit her, but barely. The seam under the elastic of the star pants has almost no stretch which makes the elastic almost unusable as they are a little tight when you put them on. Overall we like the Spotted Zebra brand but their capris and cycling shorts are VERY narrow in the waist. My twins are 2.5 years old. Usually wear size 3T-4T (34 pounds, 3 feet tall). My daughter LOVES these fun mermaid print pants. Length: We were surprised at how SHORT these "pants" are. I bought them to protect them from mosquito bites when playing outside, but they are closer to CAPRIS, they don't even reach her ankles, so she still gets bitten.
