I bought this for myself to wear as a "shirt/jacket" and yes I'm a girl and I have a men's shirt. First of all, the color is beautiful. It's a very light grey/white and the quality is AMAZING. I have a medium so it's oversized. I am 5ft 3 125lbs. Fits perfectly. Super warm and comfortable. I've ordered another one in a different color. Feel free to buy.

I didn't know what to expect from Amazon Essentials but this shirt is surprisingly high quality. It is thick, feels comfortable and is very warm. I like that it has pockets. I'm a 5'5" female, weigh 110 pounds and bought the large to fit. I could probably get a medium size and still be quite tall, but I'm still happy with the large.

If you are short and thin you will surely like this garment. I'm 5ft 10 inches tall and weigh 230 chunky muscular pounds. I bought 2 times more than what was available.
