Very big and spacious!

This tent was large enough for a raised air mattress for a queen, a backpack and games for my son, and still had room to walk around!

Pros
  • Measures 9'Lx7' (LxW) with 48" center height for freedom of movement; Backed by Amazon Basics 1 Year Limited Warranty
Cons
  • Negative

No pegs for camping and hiking

Tent was good but I missed the pegs. They weren't taken care of. In addition, it is very difficult to return a tent in its original bag once it has been used.

Pros
  • Heavy duty and waterproof polyester coated fabric and 1000D polyethylene taped floor with reversed seams
Cons
  • Small parts

Great Value for Outdoor Recreation

Surprisingly roomy interior and overall durable. Four of us fit comfortably with a small table in the middle of the 2 airbeds. I'm 5 by 5 and could stand in the middle, I just had to sit down a bit. On our last night of camping we had a storm with strong winds. We had a water leak inside from the "window" side. to see if it was just the strength of the storm or the actual strength of the tent.

Pros
  • Removable Awning; Rear window and cold air opening for fresh air supply; Mesh inner pocket
Cons
  • Some flaws

Fiberglass poles are the biggest weak point in a decent tent.

We bought this tent and returned it in less than a month. During this time it was used on several trips, set up and dismantled four times. One of the posts split lengthwise when last installed. I decided to spend a little more money and buy something with aluminum bars. Apart from this shortcoming, this is a good product. It's easy to lift, relatively roomy and good value for money.

Pros
  • Polyester
Cons
  • Update Availability

great value for money for camping and hiking

I replaced a 20 year old tent of the same size with a 6 person tent from this tent. Easy assembly but you need a second person. Lots of space, good quality, nice extras. It comes with very simple and not too strong tent pegs. I have purchased post sale stakes which work much better on a variety of surfaces. Haven't tested it in the rain yet, so can't say for sure, but it has a bathtub-like bottom and a large rain cover. The price is a third of what I paid for my last tent but overall it seems…

Pros
  • Freestanding dome tent for up to 4 people; good for 3 season camping
Cons
  • Interchangeable

Decent tent for the money

I have used this tent several times while car camping. That's a good tent. Big enough for 4 people, easy on cots, enough space for gear and shoes. (Always divide the listed tent capacity by 2 - 8 people = 4 people scattered on the ground for convenience.) It doesn't have room, but a big blue tarp does the job nicely. Melody. Good stuff for under $150. Good ventilation with mesh crowd. Packs well and 8 people is a big wide area. The bottom in the bathtub means the tarpaulin material is raised…

Pros
  • Padded drawstring poles and non-stick grommets hold solid poles for smooth set-up; Storage bag for tent, poles and pegs
Cons
  • Compatibility

Budget option for an RV

RevainBasics tent offers excellent value. While missing some of the features of the much more expensive tent, the RevainBasics tent is a solid choice for the casual backpacker. Several photos are attached to illustrate the comments below. What we liked... - Spacious Space: After installation, we measured 62 inches high, 177 inches wide and 105 inches deep. - Excellent ventilation. Even with the flysheet wide open and all windows open, good air circulation flows through the tent. -- The fly…
