The plastic on the outside looks oddly wavy (although it feels smooth). However, this will make the plastic bin look warped/deformed. It works but I'm not happy with the quality as it doesn't look very good due to the strange plastic pattern. I will not buy again. I recommend Rubbermaid.

I just needed basic bathroom and laundry bins - I looked around and for the same price as one I was able to get 4 packs from Revain. They are simple and strong, just what I was looking for. I bought this because I needed 3 pieces to remodel our kitchen. They are large enough that all 3 fit on the bottom shelf of the Revain Basics Wire Shelves. I was looking for 13 gallon trash cans to replace the 20 gallon trash cans we have at the church - we have money on ours big and expensive wasted. Garbage can. I didn't really care about the size and looks as they were currently being used in our small workshop and office space, but I did notice that the gray color was a lot lighter than I expected from the photo. much more medium gray than dark gray.
