Amerelle 163TTTBN Century Wallplate Brushed Review

I was hesitant on purchasing this wallplate because I wasn't sure if it would fit with my decor but it ended up being the perfect finishing touch to my remodel. The brushed finish adds a modern touch and the design is sleek. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice with Tools and Home Improvement, I was able to easily install it myself. The only con is that it is a bit pricier than other wallplates.

Item clearly scratched immediately after unpacking. There are no seals on the plastic lid of the package. At first I was hoping there would be a clear cover on top that I could peel off, but no.

I would like to be reminded that you must also buy the corresponding switch. I have a hard time finding switches and sockets made of polished nickel. I have an old style and none of the outlet covers I bought worked. I couldn't return them as they were in the box the first time I painted them.
