I usually wear American Apparel, but I don't think this shirt is from the same product. My original store-bought T-shirt has different tags and different sizes and qualities. I have several American Apparel V-neck shirts and I'm never sure which fit suits me. Some are subtle, some are normal, but both fit and I'm a medium all the time. I even have one or two in large numbers that are fine. I wanted a plain white t-shirt and the medium size was sold out so I got two large ones. They are huge. Since there are no American Apparel stores nearby, I was glad to find this shirt online. The medium fits as expected like a slightly bulged medium. If you are looking for a snug fitting t-shirt, this may not be the best option. If you want to give your clothes a small gift, this is your best choice. The material is a little thicker so it shouldn't fall apart right away. I highly recommend buying these shirts in every color!

I'm usually male L, these t-shirts are suitable for plus size. I returned an L instead of an M and I rarely, if ever, get an M. If you're tall they're a little short as I don't want my shirts to show any skin so I hang them to dry in the wash up, so add that illusion of length.

These are new global production (Honduras and Nicaragua) American clothes shirts. Very cheap, thin fabric. The shirt stretched and deformed when I first put it on. Washing will only bring out more imperfections in this VERY poor and inferior garment. I wish I had bought two and would like a refund! AVOID!

Pretty sure it's a bootleg. The cut appears to be different, the tags look like the real thing, but they have not gone through quality control and were bought from bootleggers. Stitching on label is different from store bought AA t-shirts. There was no AA packaging, it just came in a crumpled bag. Although the color is correct. I don't think it's authentic but I'll probably still wear it so 2 stars but I'll look for more info before ordering again.
