American Apparel Womens Gabardine Tennis Women's Clothing and Skirts Review

Loved it! Would wear again, perfect for my birthday and arrived very quickly! Ranges but I assume I will just overeat lol i have a wednesday

The quality of this skirt is good. The belt is stiff and doesn't stretch, so be sure to order the correct size. The size is the reason for my 3 stars, I'm 5ft 4135lbs and wear a US size 4-6. I ordered a medium size because I was tired of the short skirt. The medium was too big around the waist.

I liked that this skirt has a lot of structure. It was thick and didn't sway in the wind or when walking. Unfortunately it didn't flatter my body so I sent it back but wish it would work! I took off a star for covering up the buttonhole - the threads are sticking out there, and I'm afraid that this may violate the integrity of the loop.

Size AA as the brand has been sold everywhere. The skirt is generally flattering but stretches a bit in the waist due to the small size. The fabric is heavy, feels stiff and cheap. It's unclear why it's called "gabardine" when gabardine is typically cotton twill, and why they still use the slogan "Ethically Made, Sweatshop Free" when the AA brand is now made entirely in China. Threads also stick out at the seams.

All the colors of this brand's tennis skirts have mismatched sizes and finishes. I ordered a small and the waist is ok but the length is almost to the knee. I have 4 different colors and they all seem to be made differently. All labels say "Made in China" and "100% Acrylic" but some colors appear thinner/harder than others. Especially on the 'Toffee' color I just received, the material doesn't feel as heavy as some other colors which puts it at risk of flaring on a windy day. Also, some folds…

I've bought so many duplicate American Apparel gabardine skirts that I'm so glad I finally have a real skirt. However, I was very disappointed when I got it. For $48 you'd expect a good skirt, but I've bought better quality skirts from H&M for $15. The belt is strong but the material is quite thin and definitely runs large. I ordered the skirt in pink and was disappointed to see that it was a much brighter neon pink than the soft bubblegum pink in the picture. I've wanted this skirt for so long

I think this is my fourth purchase of these skirts and definitely my favorite color for summer. I got my first one in blue and since then I've also had them in red, black and now khaki. These skirts go with almost everything. They make your waist look attractive and stay in great shape through many washes. The fabric is thick enough that you can't see anything. The length may seem short, but it's long enough that you'll never flash any of them. The colors are so timeless I've been wearing them…
