American Stencil Painting Paper Fabric Review

Very nice stencil but when you spray paint it still bleeds. The idea was to paint a blue box and then use white spray paint for the stars. Not as good as we would like. I then used spray glue which was better but ruined the blue finish. I'll have to try using a thin white marker or something like that. If you have a better idea, please reply.

Perfect! Exactly what I was looking for. I foolishly (and laboriously) made my own thin cardboard template, which worked fine, but this one is obviously much better. And I love that it's transparent which makes it easy to place in your projects, in my case it's the wooden American flags that I make. And you can wash it off to keep it nice and clean for your next project.

I make rustic flags from reclaimed solid oak church pews that have been used for over 5 years stand outside. I. I can't think of anything better made of this special wood than these flags. The stencil is durable, thick good quality plastic and will give me many flags with no problems, the water based paint I use washes off easily ready for the next flag. Great product and will look for others if I need them

that this stencil would be perfect for adding stars, but it didn't work at all! My husband used spray paint for the first time, but the can fell under the stencil and instead of sharp, well-defined stars, there was a lot of dust and blurred lines. He sanded it down and tried to paint on the stencil stars with a brush, but the paint ran under the stencil and made a mess. See attached photo. Not sure what else to try but we are very disappointed and the gift is now too late.
