Sturdy product, easy to assemble And looks like oiled bronze indeed. Many of these products advertised as "Butter Rubbed Bronze" actually look orange and cheap. This product really looks like it is advertised. The quality of the screws is also good - they don't break, the bronze paint doesn't chip off during assembly. I am very happy with my purchase!

I love the quality of the wall plates and they look beautiful in my newly painted living and dining rooms. I am less satisfied (and therefore only 4 stars) with the screws that came with the base plates. More than half of these were poorly painted, leaving the shiny aluminum almost glowing from underneath. I tried using the ones on the plates hidden behind the furniture but it didn't always work. The screws that came with the switch plates were beautiful.

The lids are excellent, beautifully coated and durable. I give 5 stars because the screws broke off. They are painted in tone, but the slightest twist of a screwdriver will instantly peel the paint off. It won't be too noticeable on most plates (I bought a lot of plates) and I can apply some of the oily bronze spray paint I had from another project to those that are really cracked. It wasn't a big problem for me, but it was just another extra step that I hadn't planned for. But overall good!
