It works but I wish I had a bigger french press mug. It fits in my car's cup holder, but I prefer drinking out of metal. I also ordered a French Press mug from GSI, a metal jar and more. In addition, the coffee is not heated. GSI isolated.

This is a gift for the person who only uses a French Press for making coffee and travels often on business. He really likes this mug and says he would like "really" hot water for it. It doesn't hold much but is easy to use so you can easily do it whenever you want. Colleagues asked where to get it and they were advised to return to this product.

I love those abs! I took this press and my hand sander with me on my last vacation and loved having them with me. The device is easy to use, easy to clean and the coffee is perfect. I prefer 12-14g ground coffee. I also like to pour brewed coffee into a cup/mug when it's ready so it doesn't get bitter as it sits in the press. The only thing that bothers me now is the size. I've finally given up buying a French Press with glass tumblers and plastic parts because one of the two will eventually break. This French Press is very durable and looks great. All parts are perfectly matched, easy to disassemble and clean. I've tried not to buy a flask with a non-soldered handle, but unfortunately this one has a top handle that can be bolted on. I bought this about 6 months ago. Being the only coffee drinker, I like that the smaller size lets you guess how much water to add. I'm just filling up. Coffee stays warm (I drink 2 "cups” and the second is still hot). I love that it goes straight into the dishwasher so it's ready the next morning.
