Best Card for Panasonic GH5 400Mbps Recording

This card is perfect for Panasonic GH5. When using All-I 4K 10bit 400Mbps mode, the card never fails. It easily fills the card every time, offering a full hour and 24 minutes of recording time. This is the only 256GB card I know of that never fails in this mode. That's about the same price as expensive brand name 128GB cards, making them incredibly affordable.

Pros
  • Great Design
Cons
  • Disappear

This SD card is unstable. I have to constantly format and reformat in my Sony A7R3. The problem is that when you take pictures, you can't view them. You may be able to view 1 but the second image will not appear. The camera displays an "Unreadable" error. I contacted Revain and Got Sam support in Uruguay. He refused to give me any documents other than these and was a very poor customer service representative. I'm done with Revain if this doesn't get resolved. I want a refund for this unwanted…

Terrible quality control

Amplim cards seem to have terrible quality control. I put the SD card in the camera slot and immediately got an error message. I tried it on my computer and it wasn't even recognized. Very disappointed that I couldn't even use the card. You definitely get what you pay for here, or worse. I've decided to just stick with Sony's Tough series SD cards. I was hoping I could save some money and see how they compare. The thought that I could lose all my data after a shooting session or landscape day…

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

Works great with Lumix GH5S@ALL-I 400Mbps

This card works with Panasonic Lumix GH5S at maximum UHD, ALL-I 400Mbps! Drive in a moving car for 45 minutes through a series of super detailed scenes. Recorded flawlessly. I'm impressed with the value for money. Before that I wanted to buy a Panasonic Micro P2 B v90 series. They're twice the price at $329 and only offer a meager 64GB. I can get 1 hour 24 minutes at ALL-I 400Mbps on 256GB. 64GB is not enough for UHD and ALL-I 400. I am buying 4 more of these 256GB Gold V60s for my GH5s and…

Pretty fast but not what I expected.

I tried this card and company because they were MUCH cheaper than other 2000x cards. Out of the 3 UHS-II readers, none of them showed read speeds over 1700X with this card. All 3 readers achieved read speeds of over 290MB/s on the only UHS-II V90 card I have (a V60 card). However, write speeds are pretty decent, hitting over 150MB/s in Crystal Disk Mark. I've had no luck with it on my camera, got a card error when I first plugged it in, and then only recorded 4K video at 45Mbps when it was…

Pros
  • good thing

  • no automatic

Good read speed but bad write speed. Too slow for a UHS-II card

I need a second high-speed UHS-II SDXC card to backup my Lexar 32GB UHS-II SDXC card. Normally I would just buy another Lexar card, but since they aren't currently available I bought an Amplim card based on its speed ratings. Unfortunately, these estimates are not very accurate. When the card arrived I tested it on both my Lexar UHS-II card and another Lexar card, this time the UHS-I. The Amplim card showed high read speed but very low write speed. I have attached 3 screenshots. All speed tests

Pros
  • Rugged design
Cons
  • Useless features

Write speed is 3 times slower than read speed but still pretty fast

I am using this on a Sony A7Riii camera and it works there. I tested its performance using a Sony MRW-S1 SDXC II USB3 card reader and the CrystalMark tool in Windows 10 and compared it to a Sony SDXC II card and a SanDisk SDXC I card. Amplim's read speeds were pretty close to the advertised 285 MB/s. Speed - I got 271. But the write speed, which was not claimed, was a third of 91MB/s. That surprised me. The closest was a Sony card, the advertised read/write speed was 300/299 and it was…

  • This is amazing
