They are perfect for kinetic sand. They are small but very durable. They produce very detailed sand structures and release the sand very easily. Very high quality plastic that does not break easily. There is also a very good range of shapes to keep kids of all ages busy.

I was really interested in the brick road roller and cars mostly! There are many small shapes to stimulate children's interest. Nice sized small buildings for a mini sandbox at home with kinetic sand. I wouldn't recommend it for the beach but it's exactly what I was hoping for.

My 3.5 year old son recently discovered that he LOVES using shapes when playing with kinetic sand. I bought this set so we could use more than the 3 or 4 items that came with the sand and he LOVES this set especially the cars. Tools and molds are perfectly sized for children's hands.

I took this because it has a car shape that is not in the other set. First of all, I plan to use them on the beach. After receiving the package, I understand that it is too small. We end up using them with kinetic sand. The size is perfect for our kinetic sandpit. For this reason I give 4 instead of 3 stars.

It's great! They look just like the photos. Love how thick the plastic is - I squeezed it as hard as I could and it barely bounced. They are the perfect size for my toddler and 5 year old (pictured is a 5 year old with molds). I have to admit that I didn't pay enough attention to their size and was hoping they were bigger. They're a bit small for the beach, but perfect for our little box of kinetic sand (about 10 pounds).
