It works but I kinda jumped the start line to find my bow tie. In other words, I didn't need it. But I put it in a box with audio cables - yes, it survived. Good for a rainy day.

The only downside is that Goggles says when you try to use certain androids when the phone moves. It also works great on my PS4. My surround sound is old and has a left, center and right jack, so that came in handy. Local stores no longer sell 3-way connectors, usually 2. This is not a heavy-duty hard jacket cable. More like a cheap, low quality cable, but it does the job.

I have a surround sound system that usually connects via USB to a box that splits the signal. I kept searching the web to figure out how to get it working from my iPhone. I was only able to get one or two speakers to play with. I have this splitter and voila all the speakers work and sound good. They don't look weak either. Great little hack, worth $8 or $9.
