Description of Ancor 221419 Electrical Disconnects Insulation

100 Pack of 16-14 AWG, Male fully insulated nylon disconnects. Ancor's Marine Grade terminals differ from automotive terminals by being designed for the harsh marine environment. Nylon insulators are easy to crimp and will not split. Barrels are designed to tightly grip the wire with the least effort. Tinned copper gives the least electrical resistance but the most corrosion protection. UL 310.

Always good matrices, easy to use and not even much more expensive than other brands with much worse performance.

I have used many of these wires in various automotive wiring projects including entire car wiring harnesses built from scratch. All Ancor crimps have been reliable and crimped correctly every time. I also use an Ancor Marine crimping tool and I shrink and inspect each crimp after I make it. I haven't gotten a bad crimp my first time here. These insulated crimps are needed to prevent a short circuit if the connection is left disconnected. The only thing probably to note is that insulated crimps…
