It will work but the remotes are so cheap and are actually falling apart. If you're looking for remotes that last as long as flashlights, then this isn't it. It was a gift so I was very disappointed that the remotes were of such poor quality. I wish I could replace them.

Bought a pair to use as main lighting in a guest room that was converted into a studio for podcasts and live and recorded performances. This is the absolute best lighting kit for home studio or photography at a fantastic price of just over $100. It has 3 headlights and one even has an adjustable boom and a sandbag as a counterweight. Each softbox has 4 large soft CFL bulbs in one light head. Each head has a switch to turn on just 2 lights or all 4 lights.
