Bought 6 pairs. The daughter tried on the green pair to make sure they fit. She wanted to keep them so I washed the other 5 pairs. However, after washing, the remaining 5 pairs will shrink. And not all have shrunk to the same size. Anyway, they don't suit her at all now. I will be returning them but I would like to know before I buy that they shrink so much with washing.

We live in a cold climate and my daughter keeps complaining that her Target & Old Navy leggings are too cold. Also, they always get holes in their knees so easily. We've only had them for a short time and she loves how comfortable they are. Also, I don't think they tear as easily as some other brands. The main disadvantage is that they take pills easily. I can fix this with my sweater razor much quicker than sewing holes with other brands. So for the price I'll stick with the quality.

Warm, soft, comfortable. The child's height is 75-95 percentiles for her age (8 years). Size 9-10 is comfortable for her with good coverage at waist and ankles. For the price I didn't expect durability - and it doesn't. Appearing (and washing) cold can cause them to pick, roll, etc. But it's a great quick cold fix. In our climate, such heat is rarely needed, and next year it will outgrow them. I tumble dry them on minimal heat and wash them once - they didn't seem to set.
