Super for power pack

I've been waiting for this cable from Anker for a long time and I was happy when I got it. It works great, is solid like other Anker cables and I haven't had any issues with it so far. Remember, this is for power, not fast data transfer - if that's what you're looking for, look at 3.0, 3.1, or Thunderbolt cables!

Pros
  • Super for me
Cons
  • Nothing here

Perfect for my needs

I bought a GaN USB-C charger without a cable because I thought I already had one. Turns out I was wrong so I chose this beautiful cable and it's just what I needed! The USB-C connector fits snugly into the ports on both the charger and my phone, charging it in no time. The cord is very long, but I just leave it rolled up and Velcroed next to an outlet when charging, no fuss, no mess.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • The list goes on.

Terrifyingly strange electrocution sound when unplugged

I had an issue with "terrifyingly strange electrocution sound when unplugged" and Revain has already replaced it once. The second has the same problem. This happens every time I unplug it from the device. I've tried this with my Pixel 2 XL, 3rd gen iPad Pro and my Lenovo Chromebook. I'm using an Anker Type-C PD 60W charger. I don't feel safe using it. Other cables don't have this problem.

Pros
  • High support and durability ratings from testers
Cons
  • New Competitors

Believe it or not, Computer Accessories and Peripherals

It's been about a couple of weeks since I bought this cable. It's a good length to be next to the bed, a good thickness that gives you a good sense of durability, and it charges very quickly. I've been using the cable every day since I bought it. Despite the thickness of the cable, I'm afraid that the quality of the cable will determine its lifespan. If it's made from cheap materials, I'll go back and edit it. However, this is the best cable on the market so far. Anker definitely does its job…

Solid Anchor Quality

This cable works as advertised. I use it to charge my MacBook Pro 13 and Dell XPS 13 and it works as expected with both. Charging is as fast or even faster than an OEM cable. It feels very similar to Apple's OEM USB-C cable. I'm into the high-end anchor cables with fabric sleeves and metal connectors. I couldn't find one that matched the 100 watt rating of this cable, which is why I bought it. I couldn't find anything longer than 6 feet either - I was hoping for 10. Perhaps this is a limitation

Disappointed with durability (3 weeks)

I may have had bad luck with the cable but still the cable only lasted 3 weeks before it started having connection problems. This cable is expensive but I didn't mind buying it if I got good quality. It met all my expectations (speed, thickness, length) within 3 weeks and then the problems started. The first problem occurred when I plugged in my phone and came back a few minutes later to see it wasn't charging. I later found that it sometimes turned off when the phone was moved slightly or when

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Only available in black

Cables & Accessories Lifebuoy

This cable literally changed my life. I recently bought an iPad Air and the cable that came with it wasn't like the 10 other cables lying around my house. The cable that came with it was about 24 inches long and had different types of connectors. I was like, "How can a human survive with such a short and strange cord?" So I looked at Revain and my heart skipped a beat when I saw that they have a 6ft version! I placed my order immediately and was excited for it to arrive. When I heard a FedEx…

Pros
  • Thinner but stronger: Made with four bulletproof fiber cores that can withstand up to 25,000 flexes. The redesigned internal structure means the latest generation of PowerLine is even thinner than its predecessors without sacrificing strength.
Cons
  • Not sure

First off when the cable worked I had absolutely no issues with it which is exactly what you want, you want it to "just work". I mean it's a charging cable. As long as it's strong, the protective coating doesn't deteriorate, and the joints don't break or bend, you're fine. However, if it doesn't directly charge or connect between the two right devices (in my case, the phone and the power adapter), it's utterly useless. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE that uses a USB port. With connection…

Pros
  • Dual Chip Design: Engineered with an advanced E-marker chip in each slot for more stable charging and improved efficiency.
Cons
  • not reliable

Not durable, 6 cables failed in 3 weeks.

Updated 7/21/21 Anker decided to replace two of my three broken cables. Two weeks later, one of them fails just like the last six. My take is that these cables have a design flaw or are extremely brittle, making them useless as a charging cable. However, I bought a Stream III from Anker as they handle customer service and so far it has been fantastic and hasn't shown the same signs of failure as it has in three weeks. Upgraded to three stars for customer service but would recommend a different…
