Premium Leather Men's Belts & Accessories - Anson Belt Buckle Review

I ordered this belt (belt only) to use with an Anson buckle that I already have. (I ordered my first belt and buckle a few months ago and absolutely loved it.) The first shipment was an Anson box that had no belt at all - it was just a box - how come? A phone call was required to arrange an exchange. The second belt had a large, long scuff/scar almost the entire length. Exchange now. Maybe the third time there's a spell and I actually get a belt to use?

Good quality straps but don't pair well with standard click buckles. This is a true 1.25" width, NOT 35mm as some in the Q&A/reviews suggest. Also, it's more of a dark red than Cordovan; However, it's not "pink" as another reviewer suggested. I'm keeping it as it's as close as possible to a cordovan snap belt I can find. But if you find your color in the Vbiger belt, it's half the price AND comes with a buckle. Not as much.

They are awesome. So easy to set up. I'm using my second one in 2 years because the brown tends to wear off revealing pink skin underneath. But it's still worth it.

I have Anson leather and nylon belts. Leather doesn't look as expensive as it should for the price. The nylon straps look great but my metal buckle started to fade after a few months.

I was looking for a quality leather ratchet strap to replace a buckle from another brand. I was VERY happy at first, but after about 3 months of average (not daily) use, the stitching around the ratchet insert on both sides started to unravel. This seam defect renders the belt unusable. I was looking for another black strap to replace this one, but it's hard to find a 1 and 3/16 wide strap at Revain. The black strap itself is too old to return as I haven't used it for 2-3 months after purchase…

I really like Anson straps. I've been using them for a few years now and the durability of the best buckle is great. Sure, it scratches here and there, but the belt buckle doesn't scratch. The skin looks very nice and feels comfortable. The only reason I give this product 3 stars is that the belt buckles around my loops very quickly. I wish the leather was thicker and a little more resistant to warping when you're driving or sitting down.

Love these belts. Absolutely the most comfortable belt you will ever wear. Fits perfectly every time because you tighten or loosen it right at your waist instead of being restricted by the holes in your current belt. The straps are under warranty and the company is easy to deal with.

Worked as expected. I love these belts. My other was worn out after 2.5 years of use. After ordering a replacement, it's like a brand new belt.
