Exactly what I was looking for. I'm teaching my 16-year-old daughter to drive. This mirror can be mounted directly under the driver's rearview mirror so that I, as a passenger, can also see what's behind us. That comforts me when I tell them to change lanes, I can clearly see if it's safe. Adheres well to the windshield. no problem.

I'm in the juice when the temp is over 40 degrees so I wear it when it's been really hot. I don't know if that helps but it's been weeks and my only issue is that the ball joint connected to the mirror shifts and lowers my mirror when I hit a bath but for me the idc adjusts and keeps pushing . Anyway that's all I can ask for, it's my window and it didn't fall down. I couldn't be happier.

After years of working with glue on mirrors, this was the best solution I've found so far. The only requirement is that the glass must be clean. I scraped off the old glue with a razor blade and wiped it off with an alcohol wipe. The setting is simple and does the job perfectly. Has been running for a few months now with no problems. Purchased to add a backup camera to my van which has no windows and therefore no rear view mirror. The top-mounted camera screen adds weight. It stuck very well but had a bit of vibration probably due to the addition of a new screen attached to the mirror. A year later, the plate itself, which bends to create suction, broke. Save lives! This mirror was the perfect replacement for my truck. The previous mirror fell off. This mirror was the first time it cost less than $20 when a mirror replacement and installation would have cost me at least $300. So easy to install. No glue required.
