This is not a coaxial cable!. I had issues with noise using this cable so I opened it up. See image. Surprise. Surprise. This is not a coaxial but an unshielded pair. So it's definitely not 75 ohms as advertised. I was deceived and insulted. :(

I bought these thinking I could use them for shortwave radio antennas. The signal strength is about half that of other BNC RF cables I've bought. Obviously they are only suitable for video use. So if you are a radio amateur, avoid them. They're probably good enough for what they're supposed to be.

These were purchased as a last resort to help our church hold online worship services during the COVID-19 crisis. They work, but at great cost. The RG-174 is definitely not as good in video quality as the RG-59 or RG-6, but it works. They also seem a little flimsy in their construction, so I'd say they're probably better suited to a "set and leave" scenario (like security cameras) than an active patch cord or something you mess around with can frequently.
