Not neutral! suitable for gray cards

This product is NOT neutral. Compared to the Whibal card (tested as completely neutral), the color temperature was 400K lower and the hue was -16. Please don't waste your money on this cheap junk.

saved the day. suitable for camera and photography

Ok. So I originally wanted to screw up this whole product until one day it happened when I was forced to look at some real estate photos and BAM. It showed me that they are worth every penny. I just put it on autobalance, clumsily, well, see for yourself. Pristine photos.

Really good but not for very accurate lab measurements

They are fine for most photographic measurements but there will always be a little flare. A fabric 18% gray card would be a better choice for glare-free measurements, but most users will have no problems. Not for scientific purposes!

    Cons
    • Unbelievable price

Exactly what it says and great additions. Match the default 18% card, so at least have this set to match other "gray cards" if not something else. Eliminate white balance problems by placing one of these cards in the area where the photo is taken for use in cameras or later in software. No more headaches of guessing colors!

    • Very good value for money

    • There is some nuance

A must have tool that will last a lifetime

These cards are a little smaller than expected but that's my fault for not reading carefully. They are thicker and stronger than I expected. The strap has a latch so you can easily detach the maps for a good light reading or estimated target from a distance. If you want an accurate photo you really need one of these and it's a good deal for the price.

The white card is NOT white

The cards were a lot smaller than I expected (smaller than normal playing cards) - but that's no big deal. What's a HUGE show deal is that the white card is absolutely, definitely, and patently not white. It's greyish lavender. I am attaching a photo showing 3 cards on a very white plate. You'll see that I focused on this photo. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

Small plastic cards help with white balance and exposure value

White balance is very important if you want your colors to be accurate when taking digital photos. It's really amazing how often a digital camera gets the white balance completely wrong and your colors look weird when you look at photos later. My example is snow on a cloudy day - digital cameras see blue instead of white. I take photos in RAW format and do the final JPEG processing (post-processing) on the computer. First I set the white balance. The second thing I do is exposure compensation…

    "Come closer " budget option

No, this is not a perfect reference set. (see photo) But it's not $100 either. If you're just starting out and need a reference card set that suits you better than AWB, or if you're trying to find a "white" spot in a photo to set your white balance, this is fine. The cards are plastic, so don't worry about accidental spills, and they're slightly smaller than a standard playing card. The carabiner strap makes it easy to remove and replace cards. For the price and for the right person, it's worth

Just what I needed for color balancing

A handy little fix for exposure and white balance problems in difficult lighting conditions. This deck of cards fits easily in a shirt or jacket pocket. Having problems with auto white balance when there are no faces or green grass in the scene being recorded. With this set of cards, I was able to easily set a custom white balance for different lighting conditions. I figured I would mainly use it to compensate for indoor lighting issues when photographing sculptures and plants. It's also great…
