If you're thinking of buying this monitor, stop. Splurge an extra $10 or $20 and grab the AOC 2060S. These are practically the same monitors (one is sold by Walmart, the other by OfficeMax). The LED backlight is too bright. There are no buttons to adjust brightness or contrast. There was software for it, but it's not compatible with my computer. Also, for your information, the software is not available for public download on the AOC website. As a result, plain text is difficult to read at standard definition. Have a few of these. Terrible choice. The monitor cannot be tilted backwards, so it should only be used at awkward angles. Too bright, no controls to change settings. The supplied software is unusable.

The backlight on this product is very bright and the blacks are really difficult (sometimes impossible) to see. That being said, the build quality is top notch and the image is super sharp.
