The Sony A7RIII can continuously process around 3 frames per second (with a fast card). This is useful for time-lapse photography of fast-moving objects (cars, sports, clouds). However, upon receipt, I quickly discovered that the INTVL mode allows you to set intervals in 0.1 increments, but starting at 1 second instead of 0 seconds. So 0.4 won't work, but 1.4 seconds will. This TRS-1 is cheap, reasonably sized and has detachable shutter release cables to fit various brands of cameras. (I have the Panasonic version and it works great with my GH2.)
