FULLY MOTORIZED – Transitions from sitting to standing with a push of a button. Electric motor raises or lowers the riser at a speed of 1” per second. The riser adds 5.7” to 18.1” to your existing work surface. The base is made of steel and is sturdy even at the highest position. TWO-TIER DESIGN – Upper surface size is 36 x 24" and is large enough for two screens. Lower surface is 25" x 9.5” and is retractable. It is large enough for a full-size keyboard. VERTICAL MOVEMENT – The riser moves straight up and down within its own footprint for easier transition from sitting to standing. When the riser is moving in dynamic mode, the load capacity is 45 lbs. When the riser is stationary in static mode, the load capacity is 90 lbs. I bought a gas spring stand which I had to return as I was lifting the desk myself which hurt my back even more. I replaced it with this block and am very happy with it! I chose this model because I wanted it to be white and the price was very cheap compared to other desktop electric converters. She is spacious! And durable. VERY durable for monitor accessories

Based on the advertising (and price), when I did my research the APEX Desk Converter didn't seem to be the most popular product in this category. However, I read competitor reviews and the durability of the upper itself seemed to be an issue with other products. I chose APEX because it needed to have a solid countertop. And lo and behold! It works! Very very satisfied with the impeccable quality of this product and it is quite attractive given its characteristics. No installation is required…

Defective non-missing critical screws - found out too late - now worthless

Would have been zero stars because of the seller. First the divisions arrived and worked. Little did I know it wouldn't even last a year - it's broken! The roof began to shake and collapsed. It only had 2 bolts to attach the back plate which stabilizes the countertop and allows the riser hydraulics to work. THIS SHOULD BE AND NEEDS 4! The 2 screws alone can't withstand the pressure so they loosened and now I can't get them to line up, not even to use some crazy strong glue to fix it. I would…

Perfect Size - Monitor Stand

I didn't want to buy a $1500 standing desk when my current desk was still working fine, so I started looking for a standing desk converter. Many of them didn't have the real estate I needed to power my two monitors and my work laptop on top. I also don't use a C-clamp monitor mount due to the design of my desk. Awesome ApexDesk!

I bought ApexDesk ZT Series two days ago - the delivery was FAST! I only unpacked this evening - although the outer box was slightly damaged - the company packed the table very well - not a single scratch. When I unpacked - first thing that struck me - great job making sure the unit didn't move around during transport - they used large zip ties that held everything in place, along with styrofoam to keep everything in place.
