Description of 🎨 Aves Apoxie Sculpt 1 lb. Pink, Two Part Modeling Compound (A & B)

PERFECT FOR YOUR NEXT PROJECT - Apoxie Sculpt combines the features and benefits of sculpting clay with the adhesive power of epoxy! Perfect for your next cosplay, craft project, or home décor!. NO BAKING - Unlike traditional modeling clay, Apoxie Sculpt cures hard in 24 hours with a semi-gloss finish, making it perfect for additions to costumes or crafts that are too large or delicate for the oven. STRONG ADHESIVE POWER - Because it adheres to nearly any surface, it's great for sculpting, embellishing, bonding, and filling almost any project!. PACKAGED BY HAND - You might notice a fingerprint or two when you open a new container of Apoxie Sculpt—don't worry, it hasn't been used! Each container is carefully packaged by hand. MULTIPLE COLORS AVAILABLE - Apoxie Sculpt air dry modeling clay is available in 12 vibrant colors: Natural, White, Black, Brown, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Red, Pink, Silver-Grey-Grey, Bronze. If you are looking for a bright white color, please check out our Super White Apoxie (our regular Apoxie Sculpt white is more of a copy paper white vs bright white).

Type of review

Not as soft as I was hoping, but it's entirely my fault for not doing more research - I really should have used Apoxie Paste. I will definitely be using this though and am not afraid of it going bad as I have still had some Aves Fixit since I first heard about their products.

Pros
  • AVAILABLE IN SEVERAL COLORS. Apoxie Sculpt air dry clay is available in 12 vibrant colors: natural, white, black, brown, orange, yellow, green, blue, red, pink, silver grey, bronze. If you're looking for bright white, check out our Super White Apoxie (our regular White Apoxie Sculpt looks more like white carbon paper than bright white).
Cons
  • Thin

Ideal for making ooak dolls

I make Monster High dolls to order and have wanted to try this material for a long time as many other doll makers swear by it. As long as I like it The curing time is about 30 minutes, after which it becomes more difficult to work with, but still malleable. When fully cured, it becomes very hard, like plastic. Not flexible at all. Blends well and smoothes. Doesn't smell like smoke. It actually smells like peanut butter to me.

Pros
  • STRONG ADHESIVE - Because it sticks to almost any surface, it's great for shaping, decorating, gluing and filling in almost any project!
Cons
  • unreliable

I'm changing to

I would post a photo but my sculptures are not really suitable for children. I usually use Sculpey, but I've had a few orders where I couldn't put them in the oven, so I gave this stuff a try. Very easy learning curve. It's a bit annoying at first due to the time limit, but I can honestly switch to Apoxi for most sculpting. It can be straightened very easily and is durable after drying. There are no cracks or shrinkage.

Pros
  • HANDPACKED. When you open a new Apoxie Sculpt container, you might notice a fingerprint or two - don't worry, it hasn't been used yet! Each container is carefully packed by hand.
Cons
  • Expensive
