👑 Aquabeads Disney Princess Character Set: Make Magic with Water Beads! Review

This is a very cute set! Having never done aquabeading before, I didn't know what to expect. Note: You will be given the EXACT number of beads to make one of each princess. Not much room for creativity or friends to do cartoons. Make sure you don't lose anything! I also ordered an Aquabead pen to complement the set and I'm glad I did! It's not included in the kit, but it greatly simplifies the process. I would order again but consider the above.

You might think you could collect all the princesses shown, but that's not the case. I wish this was stated in the product description as it is very misleading. 1.) Not enough light brown pearls to complete Jasmine. They need 27 beads for their skin and it's only 24. I've found so far.

This set is small. The bead pen tool is not included. Without them, little fingers will knock the beads out of place, trying to form a pattern. My daughter was very upset. The bead pen sells for just over $9 at Revain. This kit costs 9.99, almost double the price if you buy a pen. You can buy an Aquabeads starter kit or a deluxe kit that comes with a bead pen. These kits cost $25-$35 and include a lot more. We are now buying one of these so at least my daughter can use it. Pooh.

My 6 year old received a Shopkins set and was dying for more. She is obsessed with the princess, especially Ariel. We were having a snowy school day when they arrived. She was so excited. They are much larger than the shopkin set, (tray and templates) The tray does not match the Aquabeads fan we have but the fan is powder free enough to be used as a novelty only. Bought as a gift for my 6 year old daughter. She was very excited and had a lot of fun creating princesses, but remember - there aren't enough beads for princesses.
