Description of Aquapac VHF Waterproof Case 229

PRO case with 3-way harness for hands-free operation. It's 100% waterproof. Tested to the IP68 standard, which means it'll withstand continuous immersion to a depth of 30 feet / 10 metres. The antenna design not only means it fits both L- and R-handed radios, but also creates an emergency grab handle (see Product Description below). It's buoyant, it'll float safely if you drop it in the water. Full 5-year Warranty.

Perfect Protection for Your Two-Way Radio

This waterproof case is a must-have for anyone who uses two-way radios outdoors .It provides excellent protection for your electronics allowing you to use your radio even during heavy rain. The clear window allows for easy viewing of your radios SCREEN, and the included shoulder strap makes it easy to carry around. The only downside is the price point, which may be a bit steep for some consumers. Overall, a great investment for anyone who relies on their two-way radio in wet environments..

Pros
  • Keeps the VHF radio completely dry and protected from water damage
Cons
  • Difficult to access buttons and controls through the case

it worked well and floated as advertised

I took the radio case in the kayak and threw it in the sea. it worked well and swam as advertised. I didn't give five stars because the straps are very cheap and uncomfortable. I replaced the straps with REI webbing and am now happy with the overall system.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Modern
