Description of Water Cooling System for Arctic Liquid Freezer II - 280 A-RGB, Black/ARGB

Arctic Liquid Freezer II 280 RGB is a liquid cooling system for central processors. The design features of the LSS include the presence of a fan in the block, fixed on the processor socket. It is designed to cool the voltage regulators located next to the processor. This can improve the overclocking potential of the system as a whole. Key Features Intel socket: LGA1200, LGA1151, LGA1150, LGA1155, LGA1156, LGA2011-3, LGA2066 AMD socket: AM4 Thermal paste included: Yes, MX-5 (0.8 g) Weight: 1600 g (2 fans, heatsink, pump , tubes) Manufacturer''s warranty: 6 years* Connector: 4-pin PWM (fan) 4-pin 12V-G-R-B (backlight) Main fans: 2 Heatsink: 317(L) x 138(W) x 38(H) mm, Aluminum Water block fan: 40 mm, 1000-3000 rpm (PWM) Pump frequency: 800-2000 rpm (PWM) Power consumption: 0.5 - 2.7 W (pump and water block fan) Tube length: 450 mm Tube diameter : External: 12.4mm; Inner: 6.0 mm Dimensions: 78(L) x 53(W) x 98(H) mm Fan specifications Rotational speed 200-1900 rpm (PWM) Airflow: 68.9 CFM Static pressure: 2 mm H2O Level Noise: 0.3 Son Fan Dimensions: 140(L) x 140(W) x 27(H) mm Connector: 4-pin Bearings: Fluid Dynamic Voltage/Current 12V/0.17A Backlight LEDs 12 A-RGB LEDs Voltage/Current 12V /0.2A

The kit comes with a tube of paste, which is nice, it’s hard to say in terms of temperatures because I took it for “growth”, but at the moment with the ryzen 5 3600 in stock, the indicators are as follows (in idle and in the AIDA stress test, in games the temperature is at 50 degrees)

Pros
  • Rich equipment, smooth copper contact surface with the processor, additional. cooling on the power circuit, quite quiet.
Cons
  • The radiator block is huge, it won’t fit into every case, the turntables are so-so, at max speeds, they are very loud, and they also go with the “eight”. Tight and flimsy looking tubes. From the factory, the radiator was bent in the area where the cooler bolts were screwed in. The instruction is very crooked and it is not on paper, only on the site (and for those who do not know English, the site does not have instructions in 2022 for new revisions).

Excellent quality, absolutely not expected for such a price.

It fit perfectly in FD Meshify 2 (MidTower) on top, I was worried that such a fat fool would not get up, but in the end everything is fine. Cools 13700K, in a room under 30 degrees, in idle 38-42, in games on average 62-72, in load (Cinebench R23) without setting it can be hammered at 100 (periodically) in this case it helps to open the window and cool the room to 22-23 then will be approximately 96 degrees (Power crashes over 300W, it was even 317W and this is without OC). I set it to CPU Lite

Pros
  • Complete set, there is a mount for LGA1700, the presence of MX-5 in the kit, ease of installation, good instructions on the Arctic website. Silent after setting the curves in the BIOS, set to 60 degrees 0% as a result - 415RPM is not audible at all. In a load of 1750RPM, only air flow is heard, cod, no vibration. Thick radiator - 38mm. Fan for VRM on the water block.
Cons
  • There is none of them.
