Based on other reviews I ordered these youth pants in size 14/16 for my 11 year old child. I suspected the waist would be too wide/big, but I read that there are adjustable velcro straps to tighten the waist. The belts didn't solve the problem of an oversized waist. But I'll leave them because that length will last him for another season, or even two, because these pants fit perfectly over his massive winter boots without bunching them up. I have bought at least seven ski pants or overalls for my adolescent boy since he first hit the slopes at age three. The boy has grown up so fast. His ski pants or overalls only lasted a year or two.
