I've only been using it for a week so I can't confirm if it actually promotes eyelash and brown hair growth yet. For this reason I'm only giving it 4 stars at the moment. However, I can tell you that it's a lot less messy than regular castor oil! It actually dries on the hair and holds it in place. I think if the brush was smaller I would be able to apply the product better on the upper and lower lashes, but because the brush is big I have to put gel on the tip of the brush and blend it on the lashes.
