I ordered my belt on March 17th and have been wearing it since it arrived. Today is May 13th and the belt just snapped in half on the back. It started tearing in 2 places on the back and you may notice the skin tears like cardboard. The outer layer held the strap together and was very soft. The belt looks good and is comfortable, but $35 for a belt that lasts less than 2 months is ridiculous. I will continue to buy Ariat boots but stay away from straps.

My son dropped this belt on the tile floor and the buckle broke. So disappointing that after the 30 day return period is over there really is no customer service or replacement. Although it happened, the belt looks good and is made of thick leather. I ordered another one hoping it was defective.

It wasn't until a few months after wearing it that I noticed that it had extra leather reinforcement around the holes. Where I fasten it, it hasn't deformed yet. Absolutely satisfied with this belt. Buy, wear and rest assured you've made a great purchase.
