This worked great on my app. The gooseneck is stiff enough that the phone can be bumped, removed, and inserted without changing position. It's also not a solid piece of metal, so it doesn't require hurricane strength to adjust. I didn't have any problems with vibrations but I was able to move it to the car's console. UPDATE: I liked it so much I bought it for my wife's car. The screws loosened and I tightened them. It was a great extra hand for holding a cell phone (and ham radio head) in the car, out of the way and with little wobble or shake. Highly recommended! It worked great for Subaru.
