Just does the job well.

I bought this box to give it a clean look on the wall with my wall mounted TV and this box does the job perfectly by giving me plenty of recessed space to fit the Hiding cables and still recording everything that is fed to the TV. I don't know why they felt the need to fit a two piece box on the power side, but it comes with a divider to allow a low voltage element to be legally placed next to it. I have a Leviton outlet with built in surge protection, a wall plate for component video/stereo…

Pretty good but can be fragile

This is a good product for recessed sockets/U requirements. I put one of them behind a wall mounted TV. Two high voltage outlet brackets combined with two low voltage outlets create the perfect home theater wall box. Installation is easy after you cut a hole and do the wiring. I believe the bezel can be painted and the paintable cover is sold separately. I didn't need a lid as mine is behind the TV but it's nice to know they came up with something like this should you need one. The only…

That thing is cute!

My wife and I wanted to wall mount our 42 inch plasma, but we didn't want a bunch of cables from the surround receiver to the speakers and other clutter lying around. This little gem allowed me to run SS cables through the walls to the extra rear and side speaker jacks And I put my satellite hook in there AND my ethernet port And I had room for 2 surge protected outlets, not GFI outlets and there was a socket protector Weekend project and it looks pretty ok there are a few more wires i try to…
