🪒 Sandalwood Artisan Body Shaving Soap Review

Amazing scent that pairs well with AoS Sandalwood Shaving Cream. Also lathers well. However, I have found the soap to be very dry and a lower overall cost compared to other shaving soaps such as Taylor of Old Bond Street or Mitchell's Wool Fat. By the way, Art of Shaving does not currently have a suitable shampoo fragrance in its range. , and does not offer deodorants. No stars for that, but something to look out for if you're looking to purchase products with the appropriate smell.

Got this for my dad. I'm sure I'll know all the details about the product very soon once he's had a chance to try it a few times, but I have to say that I've never been so shockingly fascinated by the scent of this soap alone in my body was life. Unbelievable! I would buy it again as a gift for a man based on the scent alone, it was amazing!

Great scent, cleans well but dries out skin. Using skin care products after showering is a MUST. Overall performance means I will continue to use this product. UPDATE: As mentioned in my original review, this product smells great but is very drying on MY skin. It requires "lube" after every shower, which I really don't like. For the price of a bar of soap this was a luxury purchase for me but I love the scent and how soft my skin feels. In a washcloth for soap, I reckon getting four months off her. This will be on my Christmas list and her sandalwood perfume is now my go-to.

The item shown is not the one that was shipped. Refill of shaving soap arrived. This is a semi-circular disk. Since I ran out of soap, I had to use it. Unfortunately, that only lasted a week. If any.
