Asencia FG 03894 Equivalent Decorative Filament Review

We used these bulbs to replace some of the bulbs that were found in the ceiling fan/light fixture. These bulbs provide the equivalent of 60 watts of light and are a good replacement using much less power than traditional incandescent bulbs. We've had them for 4 months now and none of them have blown. Old lightbulbs often burn out after 6 months, so we'll see if we can cross the 6 month threshold without burning out. If the life cycle is 10 times longer, you are progressing far.

I was planning to use them in a regular chandelier to replace the bulbs that were there. I set one up and while the light is very pleasant (not too "yellow" at all, just a little softer than "daylight"), I've found that they won't work: at the base, just above is the base with a larger diameter that you can see in the images on the site but not found in a traditional lamp.
